Just thought I'd post something that might help some MMW members out there. When I've been sending out the following following 9 little word email:
"Are you still looking for a home in _________?" When I get a no, especially this time of year, I ask them if they are going to pick up the search again in the spring. 70% of my no's have said yes they will. Food for thought...

I have a throwdown hotmail account and sign into a lot of agent websites in my town- just to see what they do.
Every and I mean every response I get is the "all about me" (the agent), how wonderful they are, what they're going to do for me, yada, yada. It's funny too because a lot of them are using a popular idx here- Market Leader's Vision product.
They don't even bother to change the automated emails!
Not one person in 6 months has sent me anything even like the email above. Or bothered to ask ME what I might be looking for.
There's good news in all this Justin. More opportunities for you and me to connect in a meaningful way designed to encourage the prospect to engage us.
