How are you guys keeping track of email conversations with leads as you're trying to develope them into clients?  I usually don't enter just names and emails into my database.  I have a really hard time tracking conversations where I send a second or third response to them and then I don't hear back.  Sometimes I'm able to remember to send a "Hey xxx, Did you get my last email?"  Other times, I forget.  I'm trying to avoid cluttering up my data base with contact info like J Smith, jmith@aol.com

Thoughts?

Gmail is really good for that.

They group all your conversations together in one thread...and you can easily just search on their name or email to see all the conversations you've had with them.

Yeah, but then I have to remember to log in to status check all the ongoing conversations, lol.  If I forget to do that I lose track of things.  But I do like how it links all the conversations.

We keep track of our emails from the Market Watch leads in the BRO MyLeads.  We were able to set up the 7 step program for Marketwatch and it also will remind me daily of the calls or emails I need to make.

Very simple process.  Everything contained in one area.  The emails we just copy and past from our Gmail to the BRO MyLeads.  That way anyone on our team can follow-up.

Kim,

That's what I do in Top Producer.  What I was referring to were people who answered a drip email from Get Response.  You try to start a conversation via email but it doesn't always develope quickly.  I don't put them into my database until we've had some meaningful conversation/dialog.  In the meantime, I find that if I am emailing a bunch of email drip responders I find it hard to keep track of them.
